Questions
Clear answers, including what is not announced yet.
These answers describe the intended product. Pricing, licensing terms, and launch timing are stated only where they have been decided.
General
What is Remedexa?
Remedexa is Windows troubleshooting software. It starts from the function that is failing, diagnoses the technical cause where possible, applies a targeted repair when appropriate, and retests that same function before treating the issue as resolved.
Is Remedexa an antivirus?
No. Remedexa is Windows troubleshooting software. It diagnoses functional problems and applies targeted repair where appropriate. It is not an antivirus product.
Is Remedexa a PC cleaner?
No. Remedexa is not a registry cleaner, optimizer, or scareware-style cleaner. It does not invent error counts or sell system cleaning.
How does Remedexa decide whether an issue is resolved?
A repair command completing is not enough. Remedexa treats an issue as resolved only when validation of the affected function succeeds.
What happens if a repair does not work?
Remedexa does not mark the issue as resolved. The diagnostic outcome remains available. Home keeps that outcome for the user. Business can use it for structured support escalation.
Can I describe the problem in my own words?
Yes. Remedexa uses deterministic natural-language intake to suggest a supported problem profile and may ask for clarification. It is not an AI assistant, and troubleshooting does not begin until you confirm the suggested problem.
What are Resolution Story and Troubleshooting History?
Resolution Story explains the affected target, findings, actions, validation, and outcome. Troubleshooting History keeps session records locally on that PC so the user can review them. It is not monitoring, cloud sync, organizational visibility, ticket history, or telemetry.
Home
Is Remedexa Home a subscription?
No. Home is intended as a one-time purchase with a perpetual Home entitlement. There is no recurring Home subscription.
Does Home require internet access?
Activation requires an online step. Once legitimately activated, Home is designed so the application can continue to be used offline.
Does Home include human support?
No. Home does not include a human support entitlement or support tickets.
Does Home include remote support?
No. Home does not include attended remote support.
What happens when Home cannot resolve an issue?
Home does not mark the issue as resolved. The diagnostic outcome remains available to the user. Home does not escalate to a technician.
How many PCs does one Home license cover?
Final licensing terms have not yet been announced.
Business
What is the difference between Home and Business?
Both use the same Remedexa troubleshooting foundation. Home is a one-time purchase for a person’s own PCs. Business is a subscription that adds organization context, Get Support, support cases, structured escalation, and attended remote support when needed.
Does Business use the same troubleshooting engine?
Yes. Business is not a different lower- or higher-quality repair engine. It uses the same diagnose, repair, and validate foundation, then adds organizational and support capabilities.
What happens when Business cannot resolve an issue?
The issue is not marked resolved. If support is invoked, Business is intended to open Get Support with structured diagnostic context, then a support case, technician triage, and attended remote support if needed.
Does Business include remote support?
Attended remote support is part of the intended Business model when local troubleshooting is not enough. It is not available yet.
Does Business monitor employee screens or keystrokes?
No. Remedexa’s troubleshooting and support workflows are not designed as employee-surveillance tools. They are not screen monitoring, keystroke monitoring, or productivity surveillance.
Is Business available in Saudi Arabia yet?
Remedexa Business is still in development. It is being prepared initially for organizations in Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region. Commercial availability has not been announced. Organizations interested in discussing the product or a future pilot can contact the Remedexa Business team.
How can an organization contact Remedexa Business?
Use the Remedexa Business enquiry form. Email remains available as a fallback at business@remedexa.com. This is for product discussion, potential pilots, and early commercial interest. It is not a technical support channel for Home users or subscribed Business customers.
Privacy & security
Does Remedexa record the screen?
Diagnostic collection is designed to avoid diagnostic screen captures. Attended remote support, when used in Business, is a separate human support session and is not presented as screen recording or surveillance.
Does it record microphone or camera content?
Diagnostics are designed to avoid collecting microphone recordings and camera recordings or frames. Remedexa may still investigate whether those devices are available to Windows.
Does it read arbitrary documents?
Remedexa diagnostics are designed to avoid collecting arbitrary user documents. The intended evidence is technical context related to the problem being investigated.
What diagnostic information can Business send for support?
When support is invoked, Business is intended to send sanitized technical context such as the problem area, affected target, diagnostic conclusion, repair attempts, and validation results. This is not treated as an automatic upload of every unresolved event.
Is Remedexa certified to a particular security or compliance standard?
Remedexa will publish specific compliance or certification claims when they are established.
